Data protection declaration for online applications

The protection of privacy is very important to us. This data protection declaration informs you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of the online application portal of the ZOTT group of companies.

Responsible person

The online career portal is operated by ZOTT SE & Co. KG (“ZOTT”), with business address at Dr.-Steichele-Straße 4 86690 Mertingen, for other companies in the ZOTT group, which are each named in the advertisement.

ZOTT is responsible for processing your personal data. ZOTT has appointed Mr. Michael Märsche as data protection officer.

Data collection and purpose of processing

ZOTT collects and processes personal data ("data") such as information on name and address, data on knowledge and skills such as curriculum vitae, certificates, assessments and communication data in accordance with Section 88 (1) EU GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 (1) BDSG (new) exclusively for the purpose of the application process, the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship or participation in the respective event.

Your data will be used by the responsible office and the companies named in the advertisement to fill the position or to participate in the respective event for which you have applied. Your data will not be passed on to third parties or beyond this purpose.

Data security

From a technical point of view, this online career portal is operated by a service provider who is obliged to comply with data protection according to EU GDPR in conjunction with the BDSG. The service provider has up-to-date technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data from the dangers of data transfers and from third parties gaining knowledge. These are adapted to the current state of the art.

The persons of the ZOTT group of companies who are required to fill the vacancies as well as selected employees of service companies who support ZOTT in the automated processing of your data have access to your data.

Storage period

Your data will be stored for the duration of the application process and will be deleted 6 months after the application process has been completed.

If your application is successful, your data can continue to be used as part of the recruitment process.

You are responsible for the correctness of the data you have entered.

Your rights

You can contact ZOTT via email Recruiting@zott.de to exercise the following rights:

• Access to your data in order to control and review it,
• Receiving a copy of your personal data,
• Correction, deletion or restriction of processing, this also includes the right to complete incomplete or incorrect data by providing additional information,
• Right to object to processing,

You can receive the data you have provided in a structured, common and machine-readable format and transfer this data to another person responsible, provided you have given your consent to the processing

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in connection with the processing of your personal data.

By submitting your online application, you assure that you have read the information in this data protection declaration about the processing and use of your personal data and that you agree to it.

Cookies

Cookies are stored on your computer by the applicant management system and are used to make it easier for you to navigate and work in the system.

The applicant management system only uses temporary cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.

If we cannot promise you a specific position, but we would like to take your profile into account for any later vacancies, we would like to include your data in an applicant pool. We would like to obtain your consent for this.

You will be included in our pool of applicants for the sole purpose of being able to consider your application as part of a future vacancy. This also includes contacting the Zott Group.

After you have given your consent to be included in the applicant pool, we will save your data for 12 months.

Your data will then be automatically deleted. According to Art. 7 Para. 3 Clause 1 GDPR, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the revocation; this also allows you to determine the duration of the processing. The provision of personal data for the applicant pool is voluntary; if it is not granted, there are no disadvantages. In this case, however, your application can no longer be considered for future vacancies.
